Flexa becomes Germany’s largest VPP

Flexa has reached a major milestone in scaling decentralized energy systems.

With more than 50,000 customers connected, Flexa operates the largest residential Virtual Power Plant (VPP) in Germany. By aggregating and intelligently steering distributed energy resources across tens of thousands of households, Flexa demonstrates how Virtual Power Plants can deliver real impact at scale.

Over the past months, Flexa’s VPP has grown rapidly, integrating residential flexibility into energy markets and grid services. The platform optimizes consumption and flexibility in real time, enabling households to actively participate in the energy system while supporting grid stability and efficiency.
